Judith Lewis  is an oil painter from Seymour,

Indiana.  She studied at Indianapolis Art

Center, Scottsdale School of Art and Fechin

Institute.  After fine art became her major focus

in 1996,  she began showing her work in juried

exhibitions,  winning numerous awards.  In addition

to one-woman shows,  Ms. Lewis’s work has

appeared in several group shows.  Many of her

paintings are held in both private and public

collections.  Judith is represented by Brown

County Art Guild in Nashville, Indiana,  Hoosier

Salon in Indianapolis, Indiana,  Madison Art Gallery

in Madison, Indiana, and Gallery North in Bloomington, Indiana.

“Painting the wonders of everyday life is my passion. It allows me to translate my thoughts and feelings into visual images. As a painter, I wish to evolve to a higher level of awareness and expression, and to share my world of peaceful contemplation with others.”
